Asian Venous Forum 2026Fukushima, Japan

Held with the 46th Annual Congress of the Japanese Society of Phlebology

Friday, July 3, 2026
Corasse Fukushima, Fukushima, Japan

Overview

AsVF 2026 took place in Fukushima, Japan, together with the international session of the 46th Annual Congress of the Japanese Society of Phlebology. The Forum was led by Congress President Dr. Tomohiro Ogawa of Fukushima Daiichi Hospital.

Annual AsVF meetings were traditionally held together with the Asian Society for Vascular Surgery. The first independent AsVF meeting was organized in 2019 under former President Dr. Shenming Wang, and the 2026 meeting continues the effort to keep regular, independent phlebology meetings in Asia.

The program covered varicose veins, chronic venous disease, venous thromboembolism, compression therapy and venous interventions, with a joint session between the Forum and the Taiwan Society for Vascular Surgery.
